Why Your Teen Needs Financial Coaching

You want your teen to succeed. I help them build the financial confidence to do it.

As parents, you carry the weight of preparing your teen for adulthood — emotionally, spiritually, and financially. But money is the one area most teens never get taught clearly.

That’s where I come in.

I coach teens and young adults so they can step into adulthood confident, prepared, and debt‑free.

Get in Touch

Why Teens Need Financial Coaching

 Most teens enter adulthood with:

  • No budgeting skills
  • No understanding of credit cards
  • No idea how loans really work
  • No plan for saving
  • No confidence with money

And the world is ready to pull them into:

  • student loans
  • car payments
  • credit card debt
  • buy‑now‑pay‑later traps
  • financial stress

Your teen doesn’t need to learn these lessons the hard way.

They can learn them now — safely, clearly, and with guidance.

What Your Teen Will Learn

Your teen will gain:

  • A simple budget they can actually use
  • The truth about credit cards and debt
  • How to avoid financial traps
  • How to save for emergencies and goals
  • How to make confident money decisions
  • How to build lifelong financial habits
  • How to honor God with their finances

This is practical, real‑life coaching that prepares them for adulthood.

Why Parents Love This Program

Parents tell me they feel:

  • relieved

Parent FAQ Section

Please reach us at financialcoachdonna@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Most teens begin coaching between ages 14–19, but I work with young adults up to age 25. If your teen is mature enough to have a phone, a job, or make spending decisions, they’re ready.

You’re welcome to join the first session, but after that, coaching is designed for your teen. I do offer parent updates, so you always know what they’re learning and how they’re growing.

That’s completely normal. I use simple, relatable examples and real‑life situations to make money feel easy, safe, and understandable. Most teens warm up quickly once they realize it’s not a lecture — it’s coaching.

Yes — I believe in my Faith and your teen will learn practical money skills rooted in biblical wisdom, stewardship, and purpose. I teach principles that help them honor God with their decisions and build a strong foundation for adulthood.

Most teens work with me for 8–12 weeks, depending on their goals. Some continue longer for accountability, confidence building, or preparing for big transitions like college, a first job, or moving out.

Your teen will learn:

  • How to budget
  • How to avoid debt
  • How credit cards really work
  • How to save for emergencies
  • How to make smart financial decisions
  • How to build lifelong money habits

These are skills they will use for the rest of their life.

Perfect — coaching becomes even more practical. We’ll work with their real income, real spending, and real goals.

That’s okay. Coaching is designed to help them reset, rebuild confidence, and learn simple tools they can use immediately.

Yes — I teach teens how to:

  • evaluate college costs
  • understand loans
  • explore alternatives
  • make wise decisions
  • avoid unnecessary debt

This is one of the most important parts of coaching.

Every Teen Needs this, but....

Your teen may benefit from coaching if they:

  • feel stressed or confused about money
  • spend impulsively
  • don’t understand budgeting
  • want more independence
  • are preparing for college or adulthood
  • ask questions you’re not sure how to answer

If you want your teen to enter adulthood confident, prepared, and debt‑free, coaching is a powerful step.
